Wybrałem się wczoraj na koncert w Łodzi – Alphaville „Forever Young” w Atlas Arenie – kierując się przede wszystkim chęcią powrotu do muzycznych wspomnień lat 80. To był taki wieczór, w którym człowiek chce choć na chwilę znów poczuć klimat tamtych czasów – kiedy muzyka miała inną energię, inną głębię i zostawała w pamięci na długie lata.

Atmosfera w Atlas Arenie była od samego początku znakomita. Już przed pierwszymi dźwiękami dało się wyczuć ekscytację publiczności – wielu uczestników przyszło tu z dużym sentymentem, często wracając myślami do swojej młodości. Gdy tylko wybrzmiały pierwsze utwory, hala szybko wypełniła się wspólnym śpiewem i energią, która momentami przypominała bardziej spotkanie fanów niż zwykły koncert.

Zabrzmiały największe przeboje Alphaville, które – jak można było się spodziewać – porwały publiczność. Niestety, zabrakło dwóch moich osobistych ulubieńców, „Jerusalem” i „Universal Daddy”, co odrobinę zostawiło niedosyt, ale jak wiadomo – nie można mieć wszystkiego, a setlista i tak była bardzo mocna.

Marian Gold, jak zwykle, pokazał klasę i świetną formę sceniczną. Mimo upływu lat wciąż potrafi utrzymać kontakt z publicznością i stworzyć atmosferę, która sprawia, że koncert nie jest tylko występem, ale wspólnym przeżyciem. Widać było, że zarówno on, jak i zespół, czerpią z tego autentyczną radość.

Przez cały koncert publiczność była niezwykle zaangażowana – ludzie śpiewali razem z Marianem Goldem, tańczyli i bawili się tak, jakby rzeczywiście znów znaleźli się w latach 80. To było coś więcej niż tylko muzyka – to był wspólny powrót do wspomnień i emocji sprzed lat.

Największe emocje przyszły jednak na sam koniec. Utwór „Forever Young” był momentem kulminacyjnym całego wieczoru – to właśnie na niego czekała większość publiczności.
Cała hala rozświetliła się światłami telefonów komórkowych, a atmosfera stała się wręcz magiczna. Był to moment pełen wzruszenia, nostalgii i wspólnego śpiewu tysięcy osób. Można było odnieść wrażenie, że czas na chwilę się zatrzymał.

Po tym utworze zespół wrócił jeszcze na bis, serwując „State of Dreams”, który dopełnił całość energetycznym akcentem. Jednak to właśnie „Forever Young” pozostało w pamięci jako prawdziwa wisienka na torcie tego wieczoru.

Z jednej strony był to piękny powrót do muzycznie nieśmiertelnych lat 80., ale z drugiej strony pojawiła się też nuta nostalgii, a nawet smutku – że tamte czasy minęły, że dzisiejsza muzyka często nie niesie już takiej samej jakości emocjonalnej i nie zostaje w człowieku na tak długo. To uczucie, które trudno jednoznacznie nazwać – między radością a tęsknotą.

Jedno jest pewne – kto nie pojawił się tego wieczoru w Atlas Arenie, ma czego żałować.
 Był to koncert pełen emocji, wspomnień i bardzo dobrej energii, który trudno będzie szybko zapomnieć.

Krótko mówiąc – świetny koncert, podczas którego nikt nie wyszedł rozczarowany. Jeśli już, to jedynym „minusem” mogło być tylko to, że wszystko kiedyś musi się skończyć. Pozostaje mieć nadzieję, że Alphaville jeszcze wróci do Łodzi – i tego życzyć można zarówno sobie, jak i wszystkim fanom tej muzyki.

Yesterday I went to a concert in Łódź – Alphaville “Forever Young” at Atlas Arena – mainly driven by a desire to revisit the musical memories of the 1980s. It was one of those evenings when you simply want to feel, even for a moment, the atmosphere of that era again – when music had a different energy, depth, and stayed in your memory for years.

The atmosphere inside Atlas Arena was excellent from the very beginning. Even before the first notes, you could feel the excitement of the audience – many people came with strong nostalgia, often returning in their minds to their youth. As soon as the first songs started, the arena quickly filled with collective singing and energy that at times felt more like a fan gathering than a typical concert.

All of Alphaville’s biggest hits were performed and, as expected, they were warmly received by the audience. Unfortunately, two of my personal favourites – “Jerusalem” and “Universal Daddy” – were not included in the setlist, which left a slight sense of disappointment, but as they say, you can’t have everything, and the overall set was still very strong.

Marian Gold, as always, was in excellent form. Despite the passing years, he still manages to maintain a strong connection with the audience and create an atmosphere where the concert becomes a shared experience rather than just a performance. It was clear that both he and the band genuinely enjoyed being on stage.

The most emotional moment came at the very end. “Forever Young” was the absolute highlight of the evening – the song everyone had been waiting for. The entire arena lit up with phone lights, creating a truly magical atmosphere. It was a moment filled with emotion, nostalgia, and thousands of voices singing together. Time almost felt like it had stopped.

After that, the band returned for an encore, performing “State of Dreams”, which added a final energetic touch to the show. However, it was “Forever Young” that remained the true cherry on top of the entire evening.

On one hand, it was a beautiful return to the timeless music of the 80s, but on the other hand, it also brought a sense of nostalgia, even melancholy – that those times are gone, and that today’s music often no longer carries the same emotional depth or lasting impact.
It is a feeling that is difficult to define – somewhere between joy and longing.

One thing is certain – anyone who did not attend the concert at Atlas Arena that evening has truly missed out. It was an event full of emotion, memories, and great energy that will be hard to forget.

In short – a fantastic concert, where absolutely no one left disappointed. If anything, the only downside was that it had to end at all. Hopefully Alphaville will return to Łódź again – and that is something both I and many fans would sincerely wish for.
